Beyond Awareness: Crafting a Voice for Change

Most non-profits struggle to bridge the gap between their mission and their audience's attention. Atlantic Outreach Group came to me with a powerful story (providing the RVA community with hunger relief and addiction recovery support for 15 years and going strong!) but they lacked the digital infrastructure to share it effectively. They needed to move away from "transactional" posts and toward a narrative that made their supporters feel like an essential part of the solution.

To understand where an organization is going, you have to see how far they’ve come. I produced a 15-year anniversary mini-documentary to serve as the brand’s "North Star." This piece was designed to bridge the gap between legacy donors and a new generation of supporters, proving that the mission is as vital today as it was on day one.

Documenting 15 Years of Local Impact

Social media management is much more than just posting… it’s about documenting a movement. From raw, behind-the-scenes interviews with food pantry recipients to monthly employee spotlights, I manage the daily heartbeat of the organization. This consistent storytelling humanizes the mission and keeps the community engaged year-round.

Real Stories, Real People, Real Results

Beyond the screen, the organization needs to maintain a professional standard at conferences and community meetings. For this, we designed graphic flyers for their recovery and hunger relief programs that look clean, modern, and contain actionable information for potential external partners.
